Murakami House

Based on the essay by Haruki Murakami, a Japanese writer, I assumed his personality and lifestyle, and then suggested a house for him.

He lives with his wife and two cats.

He needs a private room for writing, and sometimes enjoys drinking beer at the terrace at night with his cats. He likes to talk with some of his favorite artists such as musicians and painters.

 

However, since he doesn't want to be exposed to the outside about his privacy, he wants to completely separate the common and private space. Therefore, the first floor is the shared space where Haruki meets and communicates with others, and the second floor is designed as a space where only Murakami, his wife, and two cats can use it.
